Are you enjoying this white wintry weather? Hubby and I had a lovely walk in the snow today! I haven’t seen this much snow in a long time! I love the snow! :-)
Back home in the warmth and I’m busy editing again. This sneak peek is a little overdue; all my Christmas orders have kept me super busy the last couple of weeks! Hope you enjoy these…
A very dark and rainy November kept us inside during this portrait session but the family were really wonderful and I really enjoyed our time together – and the lunch! Thank you so much! :-) I’m saving the family portraits for the gallery but here’s a few of the children…
Trying out a new watermark too…. :)
Could not keep these girls still while they were rocking on the moon chair – they were having far too much fun! ;)
This next one is one of my absolute favourites from the whole session. I love real moments like these, so happy I was able to capture it!
And the last one…
He was so good, the entire time I was there, such a sweetheart.
Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!
Ohhh.. I’m enjoying editing the photos from this session! Such a cutie.. here’s Elisabeth! We squeezed in a session on the very day she turned 18months old. She was fun, so full of energy and walking all over the place! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!
This was the very first photo I took as I was just testing the lights..but ohhh it’s a keeper – just look at her giggling away! Infectious giggles too! Are you smiling? I am! :-)
Effortlessly cute and gorgeous… don’t you think?!
Thank you sooooo much to Mom and Dad for patiently waiting for their sneak peek.. gallery coming soon!
Earlier in the year the Family Solutions Netherlands Initiative held the first of their conference series. As well as being a Sponsor for the event, Tigs Creations Photography also donated ‘the gift of custom portraiture’ as a raffle prize. Congratulations to the winners, here’s a sneak peek from their session…
There are so many beautiful images that it was hard choosing which ones to share! Such a gorgeous family, it was really wonderful to meet you all.
For me, this next one really sums up the whole session with this little guy – just *had* to share it! :-)
LOVE his expression! He was a lot of fun, and amazing how much energy he had! :-)
Can I sneak in one more….
Just look at those eyes, so beautiful, she’s gorgeous!
I really had a big smile after this session – hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!
This beautiful family had just returned from a holiday on the west coast of the USA and although they were still jet-lagged they had oodles of energy during their session. It was Mom’s birthday and we celebrated with a fun photosession in the park :-)
It was a gorgeous day, and although it was still technically summer, this was a session for Christmas portraits so the discovery of autumn leaves was a welcome one and out came some warm winter coats for a few of the photos.
After the park we moved to their home for a quick studio session, here’s a couple of my favourites…
Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek! :-)
I intended to just do a small sneak peek.. but making a small selection was incredibly difficult and I got a little carried away! So this sneak peek is going to be an extended one! ;)
Here’s some of the highlights of a beautiful summer’s day in The Hague; the Bride and Groom – Laila and Markus, had travelled from Dubai to marry here, and their friends and family joined them from all over the world. I hope you enjoy their sneak peek!
With the Groom and all the guests seated in the Wedding Hall of the Old City Hall, the Bride arrived with her father.
It was a beautiful ceremony; love and happiness filled the room.
Officially Mr and Mrs! :-)
After the ceremony and a short time in the ‘Congratulations Room’, the Bride and Groom departed on a horsedrawn carriage to their Reception venue.
The reception took place at the Pulchri Studio which was beautifully decorated. Delicious snacks and drinks were served by the very attentive staff. Love and laughter filled the room.
And then the party was gatecrashed in a spectacular style. Here come the students from Delft University…
This was just hilarious to watch! And after all the singing and the shouting there was the ceremonial cutting of the Groom’s tie to replace it with the University version…
The children had fun too – with a game of tug of war!
It was a lot of fun, this was taken just before the students left…
It wasn’t too long before the Bride and Groom’s son was spotted with what looked like a glass of wine………….. only it was cola, but like a true wine connoisseur, he swirled his drink around the glass before taking a sip, to the amusement of many!
After the Reception we walked along the Lange Voorhout for some portraits of the Bride and Groom.
A gorgeous couple, so very much in love. Beautiful.
After a short break, dinner was served at the Carlton Ambassador Hotel with some very entertaining speeches woven inbetween the courses!
Cutting the cake – which had two camels for the decoration!
Then the stunning couple hit the dancefloor together, met with a cloud of bubbles.
And here ends the sneak peek, I hope you enjoyed them!
To Laila and Markus, it was really an honour to be a part of your special day. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together. Best wishes to you both!

Nourri enjoyed grooming himself during our photo session… over and over again! And just when we thought he had finished.. he would start over on a new spot! So funny!
…and then of course, I also took some portraits of their owner, Nadja :)
Nadja, thank you sooooo much for a really great afternoon, I loved getting to know your two handsome kitties! Here’s a few more sneak peeks for you..
Here’s Nourri hiding in his tent… he loved that tent!! It was so funny to watch him guard it!

Nadja, your gallery is *almost* ready.. I’ll be sending you an email very very soon! :-) hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!!!
After several days of gorgeous sunshine and warm weather, it was suddenly a very wet morning in The Hague… the sky was grey in all directions, and not the slightest hint of sun or blue sky in sight… should we reschedule, should we not… we decided to go ahead anyway but with a change of location, so I headed off to Gouda (where it was a little less rainy) to meet Vinita, JK, and their son, Vivaan :-)
Vinita is one of my closest friends and a great photographer, I’m sure many of you will have seen photos of her on my blog before – we have a lot of fun on our photo days ;-) I am truly honored that she chose me to photograph her family :-)
Vini… I hope you enjoy your sneak peek :-)
Our first stop was the park and there was a children’s play area there… Vivaan was too cute, he wanted to play on EVERYTHING! His lovely white shirt didn’t stay white for long!! ;-)
(clickety click on the image above to see the three pics bigger ;) I soooo need to upgrade my blog to allow for bigger pics! hopefully soon…)
I looooove this one.. you’re both so happy and smiley, this is really how I know you :-))
I think Vivaan was getting tired.. oh no… wait…. ;)
haha! so FUN! I sure would like to know where Vivaan gets all his energy from..!! ;-)
Vini and JK – it really was a blast to spend the morning with you and to capture all those images that are rare in a photographer’s family.. I’m so glad we went out and braved the rain! Hope you love your sneak peek, I can’t wait to share all the images with you :-)
Ohhh… just look at this little cutie-pie!
Meet the gorgeous Matteo… doesn’t he just make your heart melt?! It took quite some time before he slept, but once he drifted off into dreamland he was a little angel.. let’s take a closer look at those gorgeous lips….
*kiss kiss* :-)
sleep peacefully little angel…
I love this next one, so precious.. ohhh.. those beautiful lips!
and the last one in the sneak peak, here he is safe in daddy’s hands..
I hope you enjoyed them.. I’m smiling a big smile, as I always do when I’m editing newborn photos…!
Thank you to my clients for your patience, I’m a little later than normal with a sneak peek but I’m quickly catching up and there are plenty more beautiful photos arriving in your gallery very soon… I will be in touch!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone! :-)
It’s time for another sneak peak!
Last weekend I had a really fun time photographing a wonderful family from Australia. We first visited the Japanese Garden for some photos there but we ended up sharing the garden with a film crew and I don’t think they were overly enthusiastic about our rendition of baa baa black sheep, so we left for an adventure in Clingendael Park instead…
But first, since I love the bright red bridges in the Japanese Garden, meet Finn, Ronan and Declan…
There is a gorgeous staircase and a beautifully kept garden in Clingendael so we spent some time there, playing catch and blowing bubbles… and I kept catching Declan resting his hands on his hips, such a cutie!
And, here’s another one, hands on hips again… and looking a little curious about the bubbles his mum was blowing..
So, in an attempt to have all three boys smiling at the same time….
I couldn’t see what mum and dad were up to behind me but it was evidently very funny!
- pssst. out of the corner of my eye I caught dad dancing an irish jig! shhhhhh, don’t tell anyone!
*teehee* the boys were laughing so hard; every time I see this photo I remember their infectious laughter and a smile spreads across my face – it was definitely a fun morning!
We had some time to go and visit the playground too…
Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!!
