CRAVE Amsterdam: Big on the Inside
It’s probably high time I shared another CRAVE Amsterdam photo session! Meet Jacinta Noonan, the owner of Big on the Inside…
Doesn’t she look great? I love that shade of blue on her.
Jacinta is a Personal Coach and Trainer, specialising in Weight Loss Coaching. Big on the Inside is a specially designed program to set you to free from the dieting treadmill, to cultivate a healthy attitude to food and eating and to develop a positive attitude to your body. The focus is on treating the underlying cause rather than just treating the symptoms and aims to empower women to be their very best and to feel beautiful, healthy and happy.
Jacinta’s also published a book entitled “My Perfect Weight“. It’s full of inspiring and motivating quotes to get you moving on your quest to achieve your perfect weight.
Here’s a couple of excerpts from the book:
“I achieved my perfect weight when: I cleared out all the ‘skinny’ clothes that were gathering dust in the cupboard and brought myself some fresh, moden and flattering clothes, and wow, didn’t I feel great!”
” I achieved my perfect weight when: I stopped looking at my faults and decided only to notice my good points.”
“I achieved my perfect weight when: I allowed my inner child to have fun on a regular basis.”
There’s also an activity section with a list of questions to spring you into action. It’s a great little book to motivate you as you embark on your journey to the perfect weight!

I love this ‘outtake’. For me, this totally sums up our portrait session together. Jacinta has a warm and vibrant personality and being around her puts you in an instant good mood; I had an absolute blast working with her! Thank you, Jacinta!! :-)

sleeping beauty…
So tiny, so beautiful, and so perfect. This sweet baby girl, just 10 days new when I met her, was one of the sleepiest babies I’ve photographed. She really was a sleeping beauty!

Yesterday was the fifth annual Feel at Home in The Hague fair which took place in the atrium of the City Hall. It was a buzz of activity! Lots of familiar faces, and many new – including expats that had arrived in The Hague only a few short weeks ago. The fair is an absolute goldmine of information for new arrivals so i’m sure their bags were overflowing with information!
Here’s me at the start of the day – wearing a fabulous new top that DHL delivered just the day before, perfect timing! I’m so glad DHL deliver on Saturdays! :-) Thanks to Neal McClimon who was manning the ADO Den Haag stand for the quick snap with my little cam :-)

CRAVE Amsterdam | The Urban Girl’s Manifesto
It’s here! Whoohoo!! The CRAVE Amsterdam guide book is in print and available to buy! Shoot me an email if you want a copy ;-)
The CRAVE guides are available in more than 20 cities in the US, two in Canada, and Amsterdam is the first city in Europe! How exciting!!
This past Monday, 13 September, was the official launch party at Hotel Casa 400 in Amsterdam, and what a party it was! A room full of interesting and inspiring female entrepreneurs, including the fabulous founder of CRAVE herself, Melody Biringer! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the book and flick through the pages, the photography is gorgeous – and it’s quite something to look through a book and know so many of the women featured in it! Many thanks to the CRAVE Amsterdam team: Cristina Stoian, Isrid van Geuns and Athalie Stegeman; as well as the team of photographers (I suppose that includes me – ha! ;-)) for such a fabulous book and thank you ‘CRAVE Amsterdam‘ for bringing us all together! Truly, this is a must have guide of all the women and businesses you need to know, and not just from Amsterdam, there are many from further afield including several from The Hague!
And look… I’m also featured in the book! :-)

And… that’s not all! Melody is coming to The Hague and will be the guest speaker at the Women’s Business Initiative International (WBII) Networking Event on the 23 September. I met some lovely moms at their meeting in Leidschendam this morning where I had been invited as a guest speaker to share some tips on how to photograph children.
And evidently, I couldn’t resist photographing these gorgeous flowers that I received as a thank you gift! :-)
